Andale and UnWired Buyer Team Up to Provide Merchants with Free Mobile Bidding/Monitoring Features

Andale, Inc. announces marketing agreement with UnWired Buyer

Sunnyvale, CA, June 08, 2006—Andale, Inc. (app.vendio.com), one of the largest providers of listing tools and research services for sellers on eBay, today announced a marketing agreement with UnWired Buyer, Inc., a leader in real-time, secure notification and transaction platforms for mobile phones.

As part of the agreement Andale will promote UnWired Buyer’s free mobile bidding service to Andale’s thousands of active merchants. The Andale merchants will be able to add an UnWired Buyer link to their eBay listings, which will allow buyers to bid on Andale created listings from anywhere using a mobile phone.

Increasing the number of buyers able to participate in a listing means more potential bids and increased profits. The Andale merchants will also be able to monitor bidding activity in the final minutes on any of their listings over a mobile phone.

UnWired Buyer works by placing a phone call to the user in the last 3 minutes of a listing, which then allows the user to place bids for the item using simple touch-tone commands. Company research shows that over 50% of all potential bidders miss the close of listings because they are away from the computer in the final minutes. UnWired Buyer provides users with the ability to receive real-time updates on price/bid status and bid in the final minutes for free on any auction-style listing over a mobile phone.
