Funding of $19.6 Million for Web Auction Management

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Andale said it raised $19.6 million to begin providing services to help manage auctions on the Internet, making it easier for small companies and individuals to sell merchandise on multiple markets such as eBay and Amazon.com. Funding was provided by Accel Partners, Mohr Davidow Ventures, Oak Hill Venture Partners, and individuals. Commercial availability of the company's software is expected next month. George Zachary, a partner at Mohr, Davidow, was named to the company's board.
