Andale.com announces hot new feature: Letting users open stores

Auction tool giant Andale.com announced Wednesday that beginning on March 3, it will provide a new feature for its users called "Andale Stores."

Andale Stores will enable SuperSellers to sell directly to customers utilizing Andale's array of inventory tools and templates creating a virtual storefront. Andale Stores claims to be the most efficient and easiest way to set up shop and continue to keep track of inventory and sales. Most importantly, Andale Stores will allow SuperSellers to integrate their store with their auctions. Andale anticipates this new 'store' opportunity will translate into increased revenue for their customers.

Andale's CEO Munjal Shah pointed out that among buyers the recurring premise of a successful auction or any online sale is trust.

"Sellers are very mindful of that," he said. "They are aware that fraud is still out there (in online auctions) and although it is tamed to a certain extent, it's not gone. Andale is answering a need for sellers, providing an outlet so they can continue to develop those customer relationships that have been built on trust. Andale Stores was created as an answer to what sellers need and what they want."
