The newest and most interesting arrivals online provide compelling services, everything from online postage sales or small business assistance to party planning or expert advice on a plethora of topics. Our list hints at a future in which much more of our daily lives move online, and we get things done faster and more conveniently.

In each of the 20 categories listed on the left, you'll find sites we feel are especially useful and well-designed and that deliver on the promises they make. These subjective selections are made by PC Magazine editors who spend copious amounts of time analyzing the Web, and we hope you find the sites as useful as we do.
